OP-TEC Systems is an independent process automation of control systems consultancy undertaking the design, supply and commissioning of process control and data acquisition systems for the process and manufacturing industries. Our engineers experience the full life cycle of control systems development from conceptual design studies, through detailed system design and application engineering, to on-site commissioning and operator training.

We are currently seeking professional engineers to fill the following positions:

• Applications Engineers
• Senior and Junior DCS, PLC & SCADA Engineers

Successful candidates will have the following experience and skill set:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision, both in the office and during client-site-based assignments
• A minimum of 2 years practical experience and knowledge of PLC, DCS and SCADA systems
• Previous experience should include process control and/or real-time software development
• Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to interface with internal and client personnel at all levels.

Opportunities also exist for school leavers. Candidates must have the following skills:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision, both in the office and during client-site-based assignments

• Enthusiasm and the ability to learn quickly
